TripPlan AI uses a minimal amount of browser storage to run the site and, where you've consented, to understand how people use it. We don't run advertising trackers.

Essential storage (always on)

• localStorage — recent trips. Stores your most recent AI itinerary and form inputs so you can return to them without signing in. Stays on your device.
• localStorage — cookie preference. Remembers your choice on the cookie banner so we don't ask again on every page load.
• sessionStorage — planner state. Temporary storage used while you're filling in the trip planner; cleared when you close the tab.

Optional (only with your consent)

• Privacy-friendly analytics. If you accept, we may load a cookie-less analytics script (such as PostHog or Plausible) to see which pages are popular. We never sell your data.
• Affiliate click tracking. When you click through to a partner site, the partner may set their own cookies to attribute the referral to us. Those are set on the partner's domain, not ours, and are governed by their policies.

Third-party partners

Outbound links to Booking.com, Expedia, Skyscanner, GetYourGuide, Viator and similar partners are governed by their cookie policies. Please review them before booking.
